WRSOS BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2017-2018
Sean Mitchell joined the Wildlife Rehabilitation of Society of Saskatchewan team in 2012 to continue to pursue his passion for helping animals.
Sean is a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Education degree. Sean developed a strong connection and love for animals at an early age through growing up with numerous companion animals his entire life.
He currently has two rescue dogs named Butter and Cali who he loves to spend time with. Sean also loves to travel and have the opportunity to experience animals in different countries of the world. From swimming with wild dolphins in Panama to rescuing and releasing a wild pelican tangled in fishing line with a fish hook lodged in its foot in Mexico, Sean continues to follow his passion and love for all animals worldwide. A standout moment for Sean with the WRSOS was rescuing two orphaned raccoon cubs in 2015 from Wakaw Lake and getting the chance to aid in their rehabilitation.
His main focus within the WRSOS organization is rescuing animals, fundraising, as well as getting involved with the rehabilitation of our rescued animals.
