WRSOS BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2015-2016
I grew up in rural Saskatchewan and have been fascinated with observing wildlife for as long as can remember!
I discovered WRSOS about seven years ago and I have been actively involved since then. I started with the volunteer hotline training. I realized quickly that I wanted to be more involved with capturing injured wildlife and transporting it to where it needed to go for help, so I got my rabies vaccination and got busy capturing everything from crows to owls. I also travelled to Victoria, BC to take the Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation Course, as well as to the Medicine River Wildlife Centre in Alberta to learn about fostering fawns back out into the wild to adoptive does. I also continue to work the hotline as I strongly believe that public education is the key to preserving our wildlife.
I know I will continue to be a part of this wonderful organization for a long time to come and look forward to helping keep Saskatchewan wildlife wild!
